Alicia Keys; "Diamond Blessed our Track With His Unique Style."

American singer-songwriter, Alicia Augello Cook popularly known to many as Alicia Keys, has spoken highly of Tanzanian Singer Diamond Platnumz, showering him lots of praises after featuring him in her Album 'Alicia'. The album released last month saw Diamond feature on the 'Wasted Energy' track.

Alicia Keys hailed Diamond for introducing a unique style to the project. She said it is a clear definition of the music world colliding to come up with a masterpiece. Alicia added that she was amazed by how Diamond's style blended well in the collaboration, terming it the finest music collision.

"I also love that Diamond Platnumz was part of this, an amazing Tanzanian artiste, who happens to come in and bless this track with his unique style. I love how the worlds collide here. This is like a world music collision at its finest."

That said the Jeje hitmaker took to social media to appreciate Alicia;

"This means a lot to me Queen🙏🏼....Working with you was a dream come true... and i can't wait for the world to hear what we still have in store... #WestedEnergy track no.4 on #ALICIA the Album @aliciakeys Stream, share, download....🔥⛽🚬"

Alicia also revealed that she met Diamond through her Husband, Swizz Beatz, who happens to be a big fan of Diamond's music. In September, Swizz Beatz was forced to intervene after Diamond Platnumz fans expressed displeasure in Alicia Keys act of giving Diamond only a 26-seconds feature in her Album 'Alicia'.

To her defence, Alicia's husband Swizz Beatz asked Diamond to tell his fans that it was his own decision to get a small slot.

He wrote o Instagram;

"My Brother 4 life. Please let your fans know you did as you pleased on the rec and this is just part 1."

In another post, the producer commented that they have another project together. "Let's do the long version Asap."

Diamond quickly confirmed what swizz was saying was true by posting;

"OOOH yes!! more Bombs coming,"

Diamond made history as the first African musician to feature on the album of an American artiste, not forgetting he worked with Omarion, in the song 'African Beauty' off his 2018 album A Boy From Tandale. He also worked with rapper Rick Ross on the song 'Waka'.
