Kenyan Opera Singer Lawrence Barasa Continues Making Kenya Proud

If you're a fan of the Kenya Boys Choir then you are familiar with Lawrence Barasa and if you're not aware he continues to make his country proud.
He is a tenor from Nairobi, Kenya who developed his artistic nature and talent as a member of the celebrated Kenya Boys Choir, and he ended up managing the group.
Lawrence has had the privilege to interact and perform with artists such as The Tenors, Jonas Brothers, Nelly Furtado, Ellie Goulding, Ciara and Demi Lovato, among others.
Lawrence has been named ambassador of WE Charity, formerly known as Free the Children, which is an international non-profit organisation.
This talented Opera singer has been a chorus member at the Eugene Opera Company since 2016 Aside from that, Lawrence recently completed training at the Savannah Voice Festival 2019 and 2020.
He has been shining in his career as an opera solo artist,he received an encouragement award at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions; he was the 2nd Prize winner in the Emerging Artist Division of PNW Sings, a vocal competition run by Eugene Opera and the 1st Prize winner of the Carolyn Bailey and Dominick Argento vocal competition by the National Opera Association 2020 Artist Division.
Barasa is currently a student of the University of Oregon pursuing a degree in vocal performance he also has two albums 'Liberty' and 'Furahia'.
