Victoria Rubadiri Is The Winner Of The 2020 BBC World News Komal Dumor Award!

Renowned media personality Victoria Rubadiri becomes the sixth winner of the BBC World News Komla Dumor Award since it was launched in 2015. The talented mother of one is the second in Kenya after her colleague Waihiga Mwaura who won the award in 2018. The award was created in honor of Komla Dumor who worked for BBC World News as a presenter.

According to a report by BBC News, Victoria will soon begin her three-month placement at the international media by attending a training course with the BBC Academy before joining the news team.

While speaking to BBC, the talented and witty lass said she was excited that she will be able to learn new skills and connect with wider audiences both locally, regionally and internationally. Rubadiri is said to have impressed judges with her eloquence and passion for telling stories on all platforms.

She posted on her Instagram;
